Welcome to Echo Park

Los Angeles’s first official suburb, Echo Park is a fast-growing urban neighborhood with a rich history and big-city amenities

Echo Park is a densely populated urban neighborhood situated in Central Los Angeles. One of the first established neighborhoods in the city, Echo Park is considered the home of iconic L.A. culture. As a tribute to its historical roots, several Victorian-era homes remain in-town, tucked in along a row of restored mansions in a sector called Angelino Heights. Beyond that, residents have their choice of homes to pick, varying from Spanish-style houses to mid-century apartment buildings.

Home to trendy restaurants, nightlife, and a growing hub of young professionals, creatives, and musicians, Echo Park is one of the city's fastest-growing neighborhoods. It combines a diverse mix of urban amenities with sophisticated, non-residential areas. Plus, sports fans love being close to Dodger Stadium.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Masa of Echo Park is famous for its Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. This family-style eatery makes all of their dishes from scratch, including their delicious homemade sauces. Masa also offers vegan options, and you can't leave without trying their bread pudding!

If you're craving a burger but you're vegan, don't fret! Monty's Good Burger is an exceptional burger joint serving 100% plant-based food items, including fries, tots, and shakes. Housed in an old vaudeville theater, Mohawk Bend is a vegan-friendly bar and restaurant featuring delicious pub fare and even better local beers.

Guisados is a relaxed neighborhood staple serving out-of-this-world tacos made by piling braised meats and savory veggie stews atop handmade tortillas.

The only thing better than eating out at a hip restaurant is doing so somewhere you can enjoy vintage arcade games. Button Mash is a hipster hotspot lined from end-to-end with games like Pac-Man and pinball. In between rounds, dine on Starry Kitchen eats and enjoy a craft beer.

Ostrich Farm is a local gem serving New American comfort food alongside a thoughtful wine list and cocktails.
